VISION

Vision Formula with Lutein is an isotonic-capable dietary supplement that I have used for years. It is a comprehensive combination of vitamins and minerals with lutein, quercetin, eyebright, zeaxanthin and bilberry, all of which research has shown promote healthy vision.

The Lutein and Zeaxanthin act as antioxidants to protect the eye from free radical damage. They promote pigment density, a critical factor in the health of the macula and retina in relation to the clarity of the lens. Quercetin, a bioflavonoid, is an excellent antioxidant that helps to maintain lens transparency and has been shown to inhibit the enzyme, aldose reductase, which has a connection to poor eye health. These nutrients also help with the structural integrity of blood vessels and capillaries, that maintain the membranes of cone cells in the eyes and promotes healthy oxygen and nutrient flow to the eyes.

The antioxidant properties of this vision formula help protect the eyes from oxidative stress. Our eyes have the highest concentration of antioxidants in the entire body so it is critical to maintain a diet high in antioxidants to fight off the damage that free radicals can cause to our vision as we age.
