One of my biggest concerns when it comes to obtaining optimal health is the current deficiency of key nutrients in our foods.
According to the lastest 2020 USDA report we have short falls in many vital vitamins and minerals such as vitamin D, A, C, Folate, calcium, magnesium and Iron.
It's a know fact that our farming soil is deficient in essential minerals that our body needs. When we are lacking in minerals then we are unable to utilize other important vitamins. The problem is absorbing minerals like calcium, magnesium, Chromium, etc in tablet forms is like asking your stomach to digest a rock.
One the main reasons I recommend vitamins especially minerals in the Isotonic form is the stomach has very little work to do because the pH and tonicity are carefully designed to allow the stomach to quickly release all the nutrients into the small intestine. Isotonic, which means “same pressure,” bears the same chemical resemblance of the body’s blood, plasma and tears. All fluids in the body have a certain concentration, referred to as osmotic pressure. The body’s common osmotic pressure, which is isotonic, allows a consistent maintenance of body tissues. In order for a substance to be absorbed and used in the body’s metabolism, it must be transported in an isotonic state.
